On Friday July 14, 2017, in front of a very small group of friends and our parents, We said I do!

The location was beautiful! We exchanged vows at Inspiration Point overlooking Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe. We chose to get up super early to beat the crowds and help ensure that we had the private ceremony that we wished for. We had our parents and a very tiny handful of super awesome friends watch and celebrate with us. We chose to do a small intimate gathering, outdoors, in a place that makes us both very happy... nature!  After the ceremony we had brunch and a fun-filled weekend.

Thursday evening, Scott and Ian brought their wood-fire pizza grill and everyone got to make their own pizzas. We can not thank them enough for making such a fun and yummy Pre-Wedding Dinner!

When we arrived at Inspiration Point we took some pictures and set up for the ceremony. Ryan's dad was our officiant. Pops was our "un official, official photographer" and he got some amazing photos that we are so grateful for! We have to also thank everyone for taking such great shots of the entire weekend. Below are a few photos from the ceremony:

After the ceremony we got some great group photos (seen below)

We are so grateful that we had such an amazing group to witness our special day!

Later, we celebrated with Brunch at the house. A thank you to my mom and Andrea for helping with the decorations. And a huge thank you to Jen and Andrea and Kurt for preparing and setting up the food. Thank you to Scott and Ian for cooking the amazing bacon and thank you to Chelsea and Jason for taking the extra journey to pick up the donuts needed for our cake. We assembled a fantastic team! We had muffins, burritos, Quiche, pancakes and bacon! Our wedding cake was a donut cake and it was delicious! Pops and Andrea gave great toasts, highlighting our friendships and our love. We had mimosas and a great day of hanging out, chatting and being with friends. There may have been a nap or two as well!

Later that night we continued the celebration with dinner at Jake's on the Lake.

The rest of the weekend was a combination of hiking, hot tubing, kayaking, hammocking and grilling. We could not have asked for a better celebration to mark the beginning of our awesome journey together as husband and wife.
